247 Watch Prayer (13.04.2025 – 19.04.2025)

Dear Heavenly Father: Your child _____ (own name), by the blood of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, come to Your throne of grace, to receive You abundant grace and mercy. Lord Jesus, _____ (own name) acknowledge that You are the Lord of my life. I pray for the life-resurrection power of the Holy Spirit to saturate every part of my life. My soul body is completely surrendered to You. Now, I ask You to enlighten me and reveal to me of all my known or hidden sins, so that I may confess and repent before You. (Suggestion: Be quiet and let the Holy Spirit illuminate you)

I pray for the blood of the Lord Jesus to cleanse me again from all the filth from the world and cleanse me and my family from any unrighteousness. I also use my will to choose to forgive everyone who has sinned against and hurt me, releasing them into the freedom of my forgiveness and stop chasing the debts they owe me. I also unload all the burdens of my life to You, thank you for carrying my burdens every day. The burden You have given me is light, and the yoke is easy. I now also put on the full armour of God, the girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Holy Spirit, the shoes of the gospel of peace, so that I may trust in the power of Your might, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and I may be able to stand my ground, and after I have done everything, to stand. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!

1. Pray for the National Representative
1. To enter destiny – gratitude and self-purification
1) Give thanks
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:23-24)

Let us express our deepest gratitude for the redemption and righteousness we have received through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The fact that we have breath of life today is all due to the Lord’s grace, mercy, and salvation. May all believers be grateful and always remind themselves that “it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”

(2) Purify Yourself and Repent
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.(1 John 1:8-9)

May the Lord forgive us for living in sin and transgression, with every thought in our hearts resisting and rebelling against God. Without the guidance and enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, we cannot confess and repent. May the Holy Spirit of the Lord guide us at all times, obey the Lord’s guidance, and live out a testimony that glorifies God and benefits others.

2. For kings and the reigning
Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. (Romans 13:1)
Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper. (Jeremiah 29:7)

May the Lord bless and guide the Prime Minister of New Zealand and the government teams, and use more Christians to serve the people in the political field and be good stewards of His kindness.

(ii) For all the peoples of the land
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1 Peter 2:10)

The number of Indian immigrants continues to grow, but the number of believers is still small. Let us pray with this verse that more Indian immigrants will come to New Zealand and have the opportunity to hear the gospel. May they accept salvation and acknowledge Him as the Lord and Savior of their lives.

(III) Teaching for Education
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)

May the Lord help us not to forget our identity: we are a race chosen by the Lord, a holy nation, and God’s people. We have the office of royal priests, and we must proclaim the Lord’s virtues and His mighty deeds among the people we come into contact with. May we seize the opportunity of the Fire Conference to be held in Auckland (April 25-27) to prepare ourselves, be ignited by the fire of the Lord, and live a life worthy of our calling.

4. For Israel and the nations
1. For Israel
For the Lord has chosen Zion,
he has desired it for his dwelling, saying,
This is my resting place for ever and ever;
here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it. (Psalm 132:13-14)

Let us entrust the Israeli government into the hands of the Lord, and pray that You will grant the Israeli Prime Minister, President, and Parliament heavenly wisdom, so that they may have the peace, gentleness, and mercy from You, so that people of different races, religions, and political inclinations in the country can live in harmony. May You reign in Israel.

2. Be prepared for the impact of the new US tariff policy on the international economy
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne;
love and faithfulness go before you. (Psalm 89:14)

We pray that the Lord will grant wisdom to heads and leaders everywhere, so that they will have humble and upright hearts, and guide them to formulate policies that are just and kind to the people, resolve trade conflicts, and promote peace and cooperation. Pray for the people who are facing economic difficulties, asking the Lord to take care of all their needs; pray that the Lord will give hope and strength to people of all countries, so that they can follow the way of financial endurance, so that the global economy can experience abundance in the Lord’s grace. May all nations experience the lovingkindness and truth from God, and may all peoples receive salvation and peace that God has given us.
