(I) Intercession for the Nation
1. Entering into Destiny — Thanksgiving and Purification
(1) Offering Thanksgiving
1 Chronicles 17:20
“O Lord, there is no one like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.”
Dear Heavenly Father, You created all things, and Your works surpass everything in this world. How blessed we are to be chosen by You as Your children. We will praise and glorify You daily, for there is no other god but You; there is no salvation apart from You.

(2) Self-Cleansing and Repentance
Psalm 42:11
“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.”
Our hearts are often troubled and anxious due to the worries of this world. We struggle to entrust everything to You by faith, and at times we stray from Your ways, grieving the Holy Spirit. Lord, forgive us for our lack of faith and for turning away from Your will. May You guard our hearts above all else and remind us constantly to look to You and to praise You always, for You are the glory of our countenance and our God.

2. For the Kings and Those in Authority
1 John 1:6
“If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.”
Thank You, Lord, for granting the Prime Minister a successful visit to China. We pray that New Zealand’s leaders will walk in fellowship with God, act in the light, uphold the truth, and lead the nation’s economy along a healthy path of development so that all people may be blessed.

(2) For the People of This Land
Isaiah 59:16
“He saw that there was no one, He was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so His own arm achieved salvation for Him, and His own righteousness sustained Him.”
Isaiah 42:8
“I am the Lord; that is My name! I will not yield My glory to another or My praise to idols.”
Recently, the Auckland City Council approved the construction of a statue of Buddha on a mountaintop in Waiwera, under the guise of promoting art and cultural inclusivity. In reality, this is idol worship—like the golden calf—and provokes God’s wrath.
Let us pray together, asking God to stretch out His arm and bring salvation, to destroy the enemy’s deceitful plan disguised as “art and culture” but in truth an idol monument. May the Lord preserve the people of New Zealand in a holy spiritual atmosphere, drawing hearts to long for and return to the Holy One.

(3) Praying for the Church
1 Thessalonians 1:6-7
“You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia.”
Let us pray for the Church: May the churches become like the church in Thessalonica—models to others, shining light among the nations, bringing joy and hope, so that more people may receive the blessings God has prepared.

(4) For Israel and the Nations
1. For Israel
Isaiah 9:7
“Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.”
Pray that Israeli leaders, in the face of hostility from surrounding nations, will receive God’s revelation, understand His will, refrain from shedding innocent blood, and act with wisdom and love to resolve conflict. May God open the eyes of the Israeli people to know Jesus Christ, receive His love, walk in justice and righteousness, and bring God’s peace and blessing upon the land.

2. For the United Nations
Isaiah 2:4
“He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.”
The United Nations aims to maintain international peace and security, promote cooperation, and uphold human rights and basic freedoms. In this age of constant conflict, may all parties within the UN set aside selfish interests, return to God’s truth, and put an end to strife. May the weapons be laid down, and may those who suffer be healed and restored.
